With an almost decade of service to birthing patients and the San Diego birthing community and a deep commitment to how life is brought onto the planet, she shows very clearly why the midwife is the most essential healthcare provider on the planet.
Courtney Scott is a Licensed Midwife with a private homebirth practice in San Diego, CA. She is originally from the East coast and landed in San Diego in 2008. She is married with two children, an eight year old daughter and two year old son.
Her daughter’s birth led her to birth work in 2012, and since then she has attended over 250 births in hospitals, birth centers and in homes. She has experience supporting families as their birth doula, monitrice, midwife, lactation educator counselor, placenta encapsulation specialist and vaginal steam herbal consultant.
Reproductive wellness, pregnancy & birth, and women's health are Courtney’s passion, and she is always eager to learn more. Courtney’s practice focus is on inclusive, respectful, individualized, and informed choice care. She believes that you know your body the best and her role is to collaborate with you!
